Alphabet Activity Poems for Teaching Letter Identification and Sounds with Kindergarten and Preschool
This back to school season, include this no-prep alphabet poem pack for the entire year. For each letter, student creates a color code and finds the uppercase and lowercase letters. Student counts how many letters s/he found and writes numbers on the lines.
Practice the poem of the week daily to learn letter sounds. We recommend using the letter sign language with the last line of each poem. (Note that you are to say the letter first in the sentence and the sound last.) As you learn each letter, read the poems that go along with each one daily. Be sure to act them out for fun and engagement!
