Alphabet Activities with Crafts, Hats, and Drawing Prompts for Literacy Centers
This little packet has every option you need to celebrate learning new letters throughout the entire school year, including vocabulary and fine motor development! It's a super low-prep packet to easily prep for morning work, center time, and/or daily instruction.
Be sure to check out the PREVIEW to see what each letter craft example!
Letter Craft:
Note that the letter craft is the same throughout the letter content, but crafts are created in different formats.
-Options 1 and 2: There is an option to print on construction paper and a coloring option, too.
Letter Hat:
-Option 3: The craft is downsized and printed on a hat for kids to simply color and cut out. Add a hat strip, too, of course (not included). Students write the uppercase and lowercase letters, followed by a word of their choice that starts with the letter.
In our classroom, we change up our craft options to keep things fresh. We typically choose one of these options to complete for the week. Note that the coloring and cutting options are perfect for alphabet centers.
Drawing Sheet:
Also included in this letter packet content is an “I Spy” page. Students draw things they see that start with our letter of the week!
