Presidents' Day Writing Prompts, Name Craft Pack for Kindergarten
As you explore Presidents’ Day, create name crafts, and implement a writing lesson with this pack!
During morning work, literacy centers, or a whole-group lesson with following instructions, create the name craft! Teacher or student writes letters of name on the line and small stars. You might write last names for differentiation. Color, cut, and glue letters in order. Color, cut, and glue star and flag craft. Attach name stars for a presidential bulletin board display!
For an additional writing activity, students write about a president’s job with differentiated writing options. The open-endedness of the lined sheets also allow for students to write about qualities that would make them a good president. You might display the writing sheets with the name crafts!
