Groundhog Day Hat Craft and Weather Activity Sheet for Kindergarten
Make Groundhog Day hats during morning work or center time! During your kindergarten science lesson, wear hats outside and go on a shadow hunt! Students report their findings during your writing lesson on the included weather sheet.
Instructions and Contents:
Student cuts out head, hands, cloud, and sun. Glue pieces to a hat strip (not included). Teacher wraps strip around student’s head to size and staples strip. On Groundhog Day, students go outside to see if they see their shadows. Report findings on writing and drawing sheets.
