Snowman Shape Craft for Kindergarten Math Activity in Winter, January
As you study shapes this winter, students create silly shape snowmen during math class! This is great for a whole group lesson or a math center activity! Give students the head and body sheets and the writing sheet. Students fill out the writing sheet, with teacher assistance, as needed. Describe the shape of the head on the writing sheet. Give students the remaining pieces. Students cut and glue all pieces. Glue a piece of construction paper to the back of the writing sheet (this “frame” is not included). Glue bottom of snowman to the frame for an adorable snowy display! Compare shapes!
