Harp Seal Craft Puppet & Writing Prompt for Kindergarten Arctic Animal Research
As you explore Arctic animals, write and create during literacy centers, science centers, or a whole-group kindergarten lesson. Glue head pieces to the bottom of a brown paper bag, and glue the fins and tail to the side of the bag, to create a puppet! Write facts and glue to the back of the bags.
For extra fun, students read and use their puppets to present facts. In our kindergarten classroom, students work in small groups to study an animal, each writing different facts on their puppets.
