Christmas Countdown Craft with Santa's Beard and a Coloring Countdown
Practice number identification and counting backward as you count the number of days until Christmas! Students add cotton balls or use Bingo daubers to fill each of the circles on Santa’s beard! You might make one for each student to hang on his/her locker for the month of December. Add to the craft during your morning arrival routine or calendar time. This craft is super simple to put together, as it includes just two sections to cut.
An additional option is to do the 15 days of school countdown to Christmas break with the beard and coloring sheet. Students color one picture on the included Christmas Countdown sheet for each day a cotton ball is added!
