Stone Soup Craft and Writing Pack: What ingredients do you need? (Thanksgiving)
After you read the classic story of Stone Soup, students craft a pot of soup. Students write and/or draw on a variety of differentiated options to show what ingredients they would add to their own pots of stone soup. Add a standard sheet of construction paper behind the writing choice to create a frame. Color, cut, and glue soup craft, and glue on the top of the frame. Cut and glue the spoon to the side of the frame.
This is the perfect craft to accompany a Thanksgiving feast activity, where you might invite each student to bring an ingredient for your soup!
