Christmas Elf Shape Craft with Ornament Math Activity for Kindergarten Holidays
As you learn implement Christmas lessons, incorporate this printable shape craft during your preschool, kindergarten, or first grade math lesson or math center. Practice shape identification, counting, and writing numbers with included activities. Creating this craft also allows for the opportunity to work on fine motor and visual-spatial skills. Students count shapes on the craft, and complete the shape counting sheet. Three craft options are included to best meet the needs of your little learners. Create the crafts, and tape the counting sheets to the bottom of the crafts for display!
Note:
In our transitional kindergarten classroom, we complete this project over the course of a few lessons. First, we count the shapes on the craft pages as we complete the counting sheets. We craft the head, body, and hat one day, and the rest of the craft the next day.
