Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts for Kindergarten Turkey Hat and Name Practice
This Thanksgiving, get ready for the most adorable little turkeys you've ever seen! Teacher writes letters of students’ names on feathers. You might write middle or last names for differentiation. Prep strips of brown paper that are long enough to wrap around students’ heads. Students cut and glue feathers to the long strips of paper. Cut and glue head onto strip. Color wattle, and cut and glue beak/wattle to head. Cut legs, and glue legs next two head, leaving about 2 finger spaces between head and leg on each side. Check out the PREVIEW option on this page to get a glimpse of how the hat craft turned out in our classroom!
