Shape Turkey Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts for Kindergarten Math Activity
As you study shapes this Thanksgiving, students create silly shape turkeys during math class! This is great for a whole group lesson or a math center activity! Give students the head, body, wings sheet and the writing sheet. Students fill out the writing sheet, with teacher assistance, as needed. Describe the shape of the head and body on the writing sheet. Give students the feather, feet, and beak pieces. Students cut and glue all pieces. Glue a piece of red construction paper to the back of the writing sheet (this “frame” is not included). Glue feet of turkey to the frame for an adorable Thanksgiving display! Compare shapes!
