Nursery Rhyme Craft & Activity Bundle: Bo Peep, Piggy, Teapot, Wheels on the Bus
Create crafts for the following Little Bo Peep, This Little Piggy, I'm a Little Teapot, and Wheels on the Bus. Go on a hunt for items that pertain to your students' needs, including specific letters, uppercase letters, sight words, spaces between words, rhyming words, etc. These tasks can be easily differentiated.
Students repeat teacher:
“We’re going on a letter hunt” …
“To find the letter s” …
“S, s, s” …
“Let’s find the letter S.” …
As students hunt, instruct them to use different colors to highlight. For example, the letter S will be highlighted in red throughout the rhyme. Choose your next hunt, and instruct them to highlight with orange. Repeat the hunting activities as you see fit for your class.
