Palm Tree Craft and Name Activity for Kindergarten Literacy Center
After reading Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom, practice comprehension skills and connect to text by having students create their own name palm trees! Promote fine motor activity by using foam letter stickers to hunt for and attach to crafts. Students could also simply write their names on the trees. Complete the name activity sheet with a partner. Attach writing sheet to the bottom of the tree upon completion.
