Camping Activity with Campfire Craft & Campfire Story Writing Prompt for Centers
Have you ever told a campfire story? You might play a class game prior to your writing lesson! Place a campfire in the middle of your class circle. Have one student start the story, as s/he holds a teddy bear. Pass the bear as each child continues the story! Then students write and/or draw a detail from the campfire story. Glue a standard sheet of construction paper behind writing to make a frame. Create craft, and attach writing to the bottom of the logs for display.
