Leonardo, the Terrible MonsterKindergarten Arts and Crafts Writing Lesson Activity
As you explore friendship and being nice to one another, use this activity pack to discuss what students do to be kind friends. (share, hug, be a good sport, etc.). Students might complete the craft during morning work or center time. Keep pieces in a Ziplock bag. During writing time, students draw or draw and write their responses. Three drawing/writing options are included. Attach a standard sheet of construction paper behind writing to add a frame. Then attach the completed monster craft pieces to the frame for an adorable display! Note that you might read Leonardo, the Terrible Monster to add to your lesson! Additional books that are great to accompany this craft include, but are certainly not limited to the following:
Go Away, Big Green Monster!
Monster, Be Good!
Monster Trouble
