Ice Cream Craft, Counting / Number Activity for Summer, Back to School
Practice number identification and counting skills with this ice cream craft activity! Easily differentiate with 4 options for counting, one sheet with 2 numbers each of 1-10, a sheet with 5s, a sheet with 10s, and a sheet for students to write their own numbers. Give each student a cone and a number. Have students cut out each of the pieces and glue the circles onto the cones. Then put the ice cream pieces on a table, and instruct students to collect their number of scoops. Students cut and glue scoops onto the cones. When they finish these steps, “reward” their hard work with toppings- chocolate syrup with sprinkles, whip cream, and cherries!
