Letter A Alphabet Kindergarten Arts and Crafts Writing Lesson Activity: The Ants Go Marching
Craft and sing with "The Ants Go Marching" and this letter Aa craft and writing pack! Note that this pack also serves as a preview for our ENTIRE letter craft pack that we use every week in our classroom! The bundle contains a craft for each letter of the alphabet! that connects directly to a silly song (or for letters O and V, a learning activity). There is a fill-in and a drawing space on each craft that allows for differentiation to add more words and label in the drawing space or to have the teacher write the word on the blank while the child just draws. The cutting involved with this packet also allows for growth in the area of fine motor throughout your learning.
As we complete our weekly letter study, we sing the kids’ song of the week and build an anchor chart with pictures that start with our special letter daily. On Friday, we create the correlating craft from this pack. Children refer to the anchor chart to complete the fill-ins on the crafts. They look forward to finding out what our letter craft of the week will be, and they love to copy from the anchor chart!
