Favorite Color Activity, Crayon Craft for Back to School Color Word Lesson
Guide your students in a discussion to find out everyone’s favorite colors. Let your students know that it is wonderful to have favorite colors, but ask them to “promise” to use other crayons when they color, too. This will make their pictures look real and it will also make their crayons and papers happy! Students make their official promise by writing the color word in the oval on the activity sheet.
Two copying options are included to best meet the needs of your little learners. Note that you might wait to make copies until after you find out students’ favorite colors during your discussion. If you choose this option, you might make copies on favorited colored paper.
