Show and Tell / Sharing Writing and Mouse Craft Activity for Back to School
Teach your students about show and share / show and tell with this mouse craft and drawing / writing activity! Discuss bringing items to school for your sharing time. Talk about the expectations for bringing items from home. You might discuss things such as nothing breakable, getting parent approval, and make sure it’s something that fits in a book bag. You might also discuss appropriate times for getting materials out at school, such as sharing time only or maybe during center activities. Then allow students to share items they would like to bring to school to share with the class.
During morning work or center time, students create the mouse crafts. Three options are included to best meet the needs of your little learners.
During your writing lesson or literacy center, students write and/or draw about what they would like to bring to school. Four options are included. One option is to draw a picture on a template that can be glued or stapled behind the backpack of the craft. The other 3 options might be glued below the craft for display!
