Fall Anchor Chart Poster - Signs of Autumn - Pumpkin - Apple - Leaves - Spider
If you’re looking for a quick and simple Fall anchor chart / poster / bulletin board display to discuss signs of Autumn, this download is for you! I love to use this chart at the beginning of the season in September to talk with students about what is to come. We discuss cooler weather and how we will soon need jackets and warmer clothes. We have a designated tree we observe all year together, so we talk about the leaves and how they will soon be changing color and falling down. We talk about the harvesting of crops, highlighting apples and pumpkins. We talk about seeing spiders, and the students are excited to point out webs they find outside. We also discuss holidays that happen in the Fall, including Halloween (ghost symbol) and Thanksgiving (turkey symbol). Defining the difference between months, seasons and holidays begins with this anchor chart. Then also refer to this chart again in November for a Fall recap, too!
