Christmas Tree Shape Craft - NO PREP Activity - Christmas Math Center
Explore shapes this Christmas as you create 10 Christmas tree crafts during math centers, a small-group or a whole-group lesson in preschool or kindergarten. Start your lesson by allowing students to choose their shape trees. Then students cut and glue the pieces of the printable craft.
Now you’re ready to discuss shapes together! You might have students sort crafts based on their shapes, such as shapes with and without curves, for example. Another idea is to sort by how many sides. Students might come up with their own ways to sort as well!
Books that are great to accompany this craft pack include, but are certainly not limited to the following:
Snowmen at Christmas
Llama, Llama Holiday Drama
Pete the Cat Saves Christmas
It's Christmas, David!
Bear Stays Up for Christmas
Merry Christmas, Splat!
The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever
