Pumpkin Stack and Crow Craft Place Value Number Sense Activity - Tens and Ones
As you explore pumpkins this Fall, practice place value with this pumpkin and crow math activity for kindergarten! During morning work or center time, students create crows and pumpkin stacks. Three options are included to best meet the needs of your little learners. During math centers, a small-group, or a whole-group math lesson, students add place value circles. This is a super simple, easily differentiated activity. You might give students blank circles for them to draw tens sticks and ones cubes and then write numbers on the crow bellies all on their own. You might also write numbers on the crow bellies with a black marker for students to just draw tens sticks and ones cubes on the pumpkin. Another option is to give each student one tens stick circle and another ones cube circle for students to write the numbers on the crow bellies. Put all of the pieces of the printable craft together for a fun fine motor and visual-spatial activity, along with a cute Winter bulletin board display!
