Statue of Liberty Craft and Writing Prompt for American, US Symbols, USA Theme
As you study US Symbols throughout your America, Veterans, Presidents, Election, or Voting units, students write about the features of the Statue of Liberty during your whole-group writing lesson or literacy center. Create crafts during morning work or center time.
Instructions and Contents:
Glue crown to head. Glue head to bottom of brown paper bag. Glue body and arms to side of bag to create a puppet! Students write a fact or two on the writing sheet. Glue writing to the back of the puppet. Students use puppets to read facts to the class!
