Sight Words Activity and Pencil, Notebook Crafts for All Seasons In Kindergarten
As you practice sight words alongside your back to school activities, work on fine motor and visual-spatial skills with this notebook page and pencil craft activity! During morning work or center time, students color, cut and glue the craft pieces. Three crafting options are included to best meet both your students’ and your prepping needs!
During a sight word lesson or literacy center, students write sight words on the sight word writing sheet. Another activity students enjoy is color coding the words on the activity sheet with the craft. For example, color (or use a dot paint) to make the word “are” yellow on the craft and the worksheet, too. Then use different colors to pair the rest of the words. You might attach the writing or color coding sheet to the craft for a back to school bulletin board display!
