Frog Craft, Sight Words Kindergarten Activity: Pond, Tropical Forest, Pet
As you practice sight words alongside your ponds, tropical forests, desert or pet activities, work on fine motor and visual-spatial skills with this frog craft activity! During morning work or center time, students color, cut and glue the craft. Three crafting options are included to best meet both your students’ and your prepping needs!
During a sight word lesson or literacy center, students write sight words on the lined sheet. Another activity students enjoy is color coding the words on the activity sheet with the craft. For example, color (or use a dot paint) to make the word “where” yellow on the craft and the worksheet, too. Then use different colors to pair the rest of the words. You might attach the writing or color coding sheet to the craft for a frog bulletin board display!
