Thanksgiving Writing Craft for Kindergarten with a Thankful Turkey
This Thanksgiving, document what your students are thankful for by filling in the blank on the turkey during a kindergarten writing lesson! You might keep this craft as a monthly cutting/gluing/writing/drawing sample. A sample for every month is available in my store. I keep all of the students’ work in their individual binders to present to them as a gift in May. The kids and parents absolutely love it!
Directions:
Teacher writes his/her name on top, short line.
Teacher or student fills in the blank on the bottom, long line.
Examples:
my family
books
Next to the words, student draws a picture of what s/he is thankful for!
