Farm Animal Book Craft for Living/Nonliving, Mamas and Babies Science Activity

As you learn about farming, students practice fine motor and visual-spatial skills as they create farm books during science centers! Students explore living things and mamas and babies.


Instructions and Contents:

Copy and staple book pages as they are, or have students cut out each barn before stapling them into a book.

On pages, students color happy face green if theitem is alive or sad face red if not alive.

Students write their names on the blank after “Old _____”.

They write the name of the animal/tractor/plant on the following blank line “And on that farm, there was a ____.”

Students label baby animal names within picture and/or draw details of a barn setting.

Glue hay below horses feet and cotton balls to sheep for extra fun.

Discuss characteristics of living verses nonliving things.
