Valentine's Day Hat: Bee Craft Activity for Kindergarten Morning Work, Center
Create this Valentine's Day hat craft during morning work or center time. Students practice fine motor and visual-spatial skills as they celebrate with Valentine's Day hats!

Page 5: HAT: head, antennae (3 sets)
Page 6: HAT: wings
Copy 1 bee head, antennae set per student on white. Students color and cut out. Glue antennae to head. Glue head to the middle of a long paper strip (not included). When gluing, plan for bee head to be positioned just above the student’s forehead upon completion of the hat.
Copy 1 set of wings per student on white. Students cut out. Fold on dotted line. Put glue on the large section of the square. Attach to long paper strip (not included) so it will be on the side of the student’s head upon completion of the hat.
Once pieces are glued on the long paper strip, wrap the strip around student’s head to get an approximate measurement before stapling.
