Spider Craft Pack: Shapes, Hat, and Poem Craft and Activities for Kindergarten
As you explore Spiders this Fall, make shape spiders, hats, and a spider handprint! These activities are perfect for whole group kindergarten lessons or centers. Students practice fine motor and visual-spatial skills as they create!
Contents:
2D Shape Spiders
Students create shape spiders during the spider study! While also reviewing 2D shapes, this craft covers science and writing when students complete the fill-in sheet. Attach shapes spiders to tops of fill-in sheets for display.

Hat
Provide students with long paper strip. Students glue head to middle. Students flip the strip over and glue four legs to both sides of the head. Fold the legs in half so they fold over the long strip. Wrap the long strip around each student’s head to make length adjustments, and staple.

Handprint Poem
Students create a sweet little Halloween handprint keepsake during the spider study!
Do not paint thumbs. Students paint the rest of their hands black. They print their hands twice, palms overlapping, to create spiders with eight legs. Once paint is dry, add wiggle eyes to bodies.
