Turkey Craft, Writing, and Hat Options for Kindergarten Thanksgiving
Throughout your kindergarten Thanksgiving unit, practice fine motor and visual-spatial concepts as you create a Fall bulletin board with turkeys! Another option with this craft pack is to craft turkey hats for your Thanksgiving feast! During your kindergarten writing lesson, write about the first Thanksgiving, life long ago, turkey facts, Thanksgiving traditions, or a topic of the teacher's choice. Gobble, gobble, everyone!

Cut and glue. Accordion fold legs.

Turkey Hat
Students glue turkey head to middle of long paper strip (not included). Students add wings, gobbler, beak, eyes. Wrap the strip around each student’s head for sizing, and staple. Students glue feathers to back side of hat.

Stuffed Brown Bag Turkey Pet
KIDS LOVE THEIR PET TURKEYS! Stuff a brown paper bag with a piece of scrap paper. Twist and staple the top of the bag. Students color pieces. Students accordion fold legs. Students glue eyes, gobbler, beak to head. Students glue wings and legs to bag. Teacher staples head and feather set to bag.
