Veterans Day Hat Craft Activity: Army, Marine, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard
As you honor our Veterans, talk about who we salute and why. You might ask students and/or families for information about Veterans students know. Ask students to share information about their Veterans or talk about why we honor our Veterans. Split students into groups to represent different branches. Students create hats to represent each branch. Staple long, thin strip of paper to hat, wrap around student’s head for size, and staple the other side to create hat to wear.
