Parent Christmas Gift with Handprint Christmas Tree, Poem, and Letters Keepsake
Create parent Christmas gifts with handprints, along with holiday letters, stories, and drawings with this printable craft pack! This pack is also easily adaptable to gift to others who would appreciate some cheer this Christmas, including people in nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
In writing, choose between ten options to best meet the needs of your your preschool, kindergarten, or first grade students. Upon gifting, you might roll these sheets into a scroll and tie a red ribbon around them.
Two Christmas tree crafting options are included to best meet the fine motor needs of your students. Paint each student’s hands light green. Press the handprint to the tree. The students cut out each of the pieces. Punch holes in the tags, and place a red string through them. Tape the string to the bottom of the tree, as the cover shows. Students sign the tag that says, “Love” on it; you might have them write the year on the back of the tag, too.
For extra sweetness, add students’ photos to the middles of the trees upon completion. Laminate the tree craft (without the tags attached) for durability for years to come. You might also add gold glitter to the star!
