Alphabet Crafts, Beginning Sound Activities Bundle for the Full Year
Prep for back to school with this letter craft pack that we use every week in our classroom that contains a craft for each letter of the alphabet! The craft connects directly to a silly song (or for letters O and V, a learning activity). There is a fill-in and a drawing space on each craft that allows for differentiation to add more words and label in the drawing space or to have the teacher write the word on the blank while the child just draws. The cutting involved with this packet also allows for growth in the area of fine motor throughout the year of learning.
As we complete our weekly letter study, we sing the kids’ song of the week and build an anchor chart with pictures that start with our special letter daily. On Friday, we create the correlating craft from this pack. Children refer to the anchor chart to complete the fill-ins on the crafts. They look forward to finding out what our letter craft of the week will be, and they love to copy from the anchor chart! With the letter Aa, for example, we sing, "The Ants Go Marching." Below are the songs that connect to each of the 26 letter crafts. Note that a few letters have activities instead of songs. To see the details of each pack, please take a look at individual product listings in our store.
