Farm Craft: Hay Wagon Addition and Pattern Math Activity
This farming season, practice addition as you add hay bundles and hay bales to complete a number sentence during math centers or a whole-group lesson in preschool, kindergarten, or first grade math lesson. Cut, color banner flags in a pattern, and glue pieces of our printable craft for a fun fine motor and visual-spatial activity to create a fun farm bulletin board display!
Directions:
Students color and cut out wagon during morning work or center time. They cut and glue desired number of hay bales and hay bundles to glue in the wagon. (Two cutting options are included to best meet the needs of your little learners.) Then they write a number sentence to match the hay in their wagons.
