Easter Activity with Owen's Marshmallow Chick Craft, Prompt for Centers
After you read Kevin Henke’s Owen’s Marshmallow Chick, complete this comprehension craft and writing prompt during morning work, center time, or writing lesson! Students draw some of the candy Owen ate from his Easter basket on the drawing page. For an additional challenge, students label candy. Glue a standard sheet of construction paper behind drawing sheet to create a frame. Color, cut, and glue craft, and glue to frame for display!
