Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts for Kindergarten with a Native American Puppet and Writing Lesson
This Thanksgiving, students write a fact or two about Native Americans from long ago on the writing sheets.
Directions:
Students color sleeves and moccasins dark brown. Color cheeks pink. Cut out pieces.
Color feathers yellow and orange. Color band red.
Cut and glue headband to front of head. Cut and glue feathers to back of head so they stick out at the top. Glue the head to the bottom of the bag.
NOTE: Girl students cut two hair braids and glue to back of heads prior to gluing head to bottom of bag.
Cut and glue arms and legs to front of bag.
Cut and glue writing sheet to the back of bag.
Students take turn reading facts to class, with the help of the puppet!
