Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts and Kindergarten Writing Lesson with a Pilgrim Puppet
Create Thanksgiving arts and crafts as your kindergarten students create brown paper bag puppets and write a fact or two about Pilgrims from long ago.
Students color face, ears, and hands skin color. Color cheeks pink. Color hair.
(BOYS color buckle yellow.)
Cut out pieces.
BOYS cut and glue hat to front of head.
GIRLS glue hat to back of head.
Both boys and girls glue completed heads to the bottom of the bags.
Cut and glue arms and legs to front of bag.
Cut and glue writing sheet to the back of bag.
Students take turns reading facts to class, with the help of the puppet!
