Too Many Carrots Writing Prompt and Craft Book Companion for Literacy Centers
This Spring or Easter, read Too Many Carrots by Katy Hudson. During your comprehension lesson or literacy centers, connect to text as you discuss sharing with your students. Students tell what they share (toys, books, food, etc.). Students write and draw their responses on the worksheet. Glue a standard sheet of construction paper behind the worksheet to create a frame. Color and cut bunny. Cut and glue carrot, and glue to top of frame for a “hoppy” display!
