Apple Kindergarten Arts and Crafts Math Activity with Counting and Graphing
As you learn about Johnny Appleseed this Fall, creat this apple craft during math class! This is great for a whole group lesson or a math center activity! Gather supplies for your class to have an apple tasting (red, yellow, and green apples, a cutting tool, plates).
Have a taste test. As a class, complete the apple graph as each student responds to the question, “What is your favorite kind of apple?”. You might project the graph on the board for students to refer to complete their own graphs.
In the next apple lesson, copy big apples on construction paper according to graph results. Students create apple craft. Teacher or students complete the fill-in circle. Attach graphs to apple craft for display!
Our kindergarten arts and crafts are downloads you can print at home or school. Each craft includes a cover and a contents page, so you know exactly how to put pieces together. The only supplies you need are paper, scissors, glue, and crayons! Enjoy creating with the kids!
