Explore timelines with your second grade students! Use this packet to enhance your time lessons by having each student create a timeline for 7 days.
Students create a 7-day calendar showing what they do each day. They cut and glue timeline sections together.
Encourage students to include a highlight from each day, which might be an activity or special food they’ve enjoyed. Students have a page of possible activities to choose from, along with a half sheet that includes some food options. Students could write words to tell about each day, too, as desired.
Once completed, you might have students share their timeline events with a partner, small group, or with the entire class.
