Elmer Brown Paper Bag Puppet Kindergarten Arts and Crafts Book Companion Activity
Read Elmer by David Mckee, and create this sweet little craft! Practice comprehension skills and connect to text by having students color or paint elephant in unique ways, just like Elmer. Cut and glue head to bottom of brown paper bag. Cut out parent note, and glue to the front side of the bag. Ask students what makes them special. Students share what makes them special by having Elmer puppets do the talking to the class!
