Pizza Craft, Shape Activity: Summer Picnic, End of the Year Pizza Party
Explore shapes with your pizza parlor theme as you create 10 pizza crafts during math centers, a small-group or a whole-group lesson in preschool or kindergarten. Start your lesson by allowing students to choose their shape pizzas. Then students cut and glue the pieces of the printable craft.
Now you’re ready to discuss shapes together! You might have students sort crafts based on their shapes, such as shapes with and without curves, for example. Another idea is to sort by how many sides. Students might come up with their own ways to sort as well!
