Frog Craft, Shape Activity: Pond, Zoo, Tropical Forest, Pond (Kindergarten)
Explore shapes this Spring as you create 10 frog crafts during math centers, a small-group or a whole-group lesson in preschool or kindergarten. Start your lesson by allowing students to choose their shape frogs. Then students cut and glue the pieces of the printable craft.
Now you’re ready to discuss shapes together! You might have students sort crafts based on their shapes, such as shapes with and without curves, for example. Another idea is to sort by how many sides. Students might come up with their own ways to sort as well!
