Garbage Can Craft, Rhyming Activity / an Word Family: Phonics, Earth Day
As you practice rhyming throughout your Earth Day themes, work on fine motor and visual-spatial skills with this garbage can craft! During morning work or center time, student colors, cuts and glues the craft. (Save the rhyming pieces for later by placing them in a ziplock bag.) Four crafting options are included to best meet both your students’ and your prepping needs! During a phonics lesson or small-group literacy center, student glues the pieces that rhyme with can for completion.
