Rocket Craft | Outer Space Shape Craft Activity: NO PREP Kindergarten Center
Explore shapes throughout your outer space unit, create shape rocket crafts during math centers, a small-group or a whole-group lesson in preschool or kindergarten. Start your lesson by allowing students to choose their shape rockets. Then students cut and glue the pieces of the printable craft.
Now you’re ready to discuss shapes together! You might have students sort crafts based on their shapes, such as shapes with and without curves, for example. Another idea is to sort by how many sides. Students might come up with their own ways to sort as well!
