As you read Eric Carle’s sweet book, note the color words listed. Practice comprehension skills, and connect to the text as you take turns saying the rhyme together as a group, filling in the blanks, as listed on the writing/drawing page of this packet. To create project, student fills in the blanks and draws a picture to match. Glue a standard sheet of construction paper behind the writing/drawing sheet to create a frame. Create craft by coloring, cutting, and gluing. Attach craft to frame for display.
Note that this is a fun book to read with your bear books collection in January or February, as you study winter and hibernation.
