Valentine's Day Party Crafts, Activities: Poem, Mailbox Writing, Card Scrapbook
Students invite family members to the classroom to celebrate Valentine's Day! A poem to perform, a handprint poem keepsake, a writing paper and craft, a Valentine's Day bag craft, a craft to display, and notes to prepare for the party are all included.
Students recite the poem as a group. Then they present family members with their Valentine letters and handprint/poem keepsakes. They wrap up their time together by completing a Valentine's Day scrapbook and taping Valentine's Day cards in it.
Note that all of these activities could also be completed as a class family, too.
