The Good Egg Kindergarten Arts and Crafts Writing Lesson Activity
After reading The Good Egg by Jory John and Pete Oswald, practice comprehension skills, and connect to the text as you complete this craft. During guidance time, discuss what students do at school or home to be “good eggs”. Talk about times when friends or siblings may not have been “good eggs”, but kids let teachers or parents take care of the situations. Discuss times when it was difficult to be “good eggs”. During writing time, students write about “The Good Egg” by choosing from a topic of the class discussion. Glue the writing sheet to a standard sheet of construction paper to frame it. Then add the egg and carton to the top for display!
Our kindergarten arts and crafts are downloads you can print at home or school. Each craft includes a cover and a contents page, so you know exactly how to put pieces together. The only supplies you need are paper, scissors, glue, and crayons! Enjoy creating with the kids!
