You Get What You Get Kindergarten Arts and Crafts Writing Lesson Activity
This back to school season, after reading You Get What You Get by Julie Gassman, practice comprehension skills, and connect to the text as you complete this craft. During guidance, discuss situations when you should take what you get and be happy with it. Students take turns sharing ideas. During writing time, students write and draw about times when they should take what they get and not throw fits. Glue writing/drawing sheet to standard sheet of construction paper to create a frame. Glue Melvin to top of frame for display!
Our kindergarten arts and crafts are downloads you can print at home or school. Each craft includes a cover and a contents page, so you know exactly how to put pieces together. The only supplies you need are paper, scissors, glue, and crayons! Enjoy creating with the kids!
