Zoo Animal Craft and Writing Prompt Pack for Literacy Centers
Make a connection to zoo books with this writing prompt activity! During your writing lesson or literacy center time, students write and draw to answer the question, “What kind of creature is in your zoo?” Students color and cut out the cage, and they draw a creature inside. They might draw real animals or pretend animals they imagine. On the differentiated writing sheets, students share details about their creatures! They might draw about what their animal eats, how they care for them, and what they like in their habitats. Glue the cage on top of the writing sheet for a fun zoo bulletin board display!
